Nannies General Information


123 Au pairs and Nannies Agency takes 4 easy yet thorough steps in ensuring that we get the best candidates registered as nannies through our agency.

Step 1

All nannies are required to submit the following information to 123 Au pairs and Nannies agency as part of the registration procedure:

  • An up to date C.V.
  • Completed registration form.
  • At least 2 written references evidencing experience of working as a nanny with 2 years sole charge professional nanny experience/ one year sole charge nanny experience and a recognised nanny qualification.
  • 2 recent photographs.
  • A copy of your passport.
  • A copy of your driving licence [if you hold one].
  • Copies of relevant child care related certificates including a First Aid Certificate.
  • Up to date CRB check [LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OLD] or police check from your home country that is less than 3 months old.

Step 2

We will contact named persons that you have stated down as references.


Step 3

We will contact the relevant bodies to confirm your qualifications and at this point we will carry out a CRB check [PLEASE NOTE: the potential nanny will meet the cost of doing this check].


Step 4

We will invite you to attend an interview and we ask that you bring all original copies of your certificates.

Upon a successfully interview we will then register you with our agency and start the match making process with a family that is compatible with your requirements.

Our services and support does not terminate once we have placed you with a family, instead we will assist you with any issues surrounding your employment and point you in the right direction in matters such as tax or National Insurance [Please note that tax and National Insurance is an area that your employer/HOST FAMILY will address].
